Web Specialist

Job description:

Canadian Imperial Advantage is seeking a Web Specialist responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress websites. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color, font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of working within a CMS and developing with modern frameworks.

Primary responsibilities are:

  • Building a responsive and dynamic website for the organization
  • Working as designers to implement visual interfaces
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality.

  • Helping formulate an effective responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin possibility for some design if interested.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Adobe XD) or similar platforms to wireframe designs for presentation.
  • Understanding of Word press and builders.

We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our volunteer team.

The Volunteer Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing several administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced non-profit environment.

As a successful candidate, you will be a quick learner, tech-savvy, have a high capacity for managing confidential information, and are able to bring projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative assistance.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, writing, and editing support for confidential correspondence, preparation of PowerPoint presentations, briefing notes, and support materials.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule meetings, and support visitors.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Assist in coordinating office supply inventory, including monitoring supply levels and placing new orders with suppliers. This may include kitchen, bathroom, and training workshop supplies.
  • Support with ad hoc requests to further organizational priorities.
  • Maintain confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Volunteer Client Services Representative

We are seeking highly organized, self-motivated, experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Volunteer Client Services Representatives to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced non-profit environment.

The volunteer Client Services representative will interact with clients of the organization to provide information in response to inquiries about our services to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and placing customer service telephone calls
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Appointment scheduling and calendar management
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to clients by using the right methods/tools.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
  • Assist in managing client database records, assist to draft status reports on customer service issues.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; escalate to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Keep records of client interactions, process client accounts, and file documents

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Ability to work under immediate supervision.
  • Experience using various computer programs such as Microsoft Office suites, Google Drive, Excel etc with an ability to become familiar with organization-specific programs and software. (The ability to use Zoom, Mail Chimp is an added advantage)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Minimum of High school diploma.
